Gredelj gets purchase orders in Berlin

Legios found strategic partners in Gredelj who will help them to produce the necessary parts
TŽV Gredelj contracted work worth 10 million euros with Czech company Legios, producer of freight cars, which has ordered a total of 2.5 thousand Gredelj frame bogies for freight wagons.

The contract was signed by TŽV Gredelj CEO Ivan Tolic and CEO Legiosa Radek Rybace at the world's largest fair of industry and transport equipment Inno Trans 2010th Berlin. By the end of this year Gredelj will deliver 500 pieces, while the rest, about 2000, will be delivered during the next year. "For us this is a very important job, because it's "covering" around ninety people," Tolic said.

The Czechs, who have full production capacities and no space for expanding production, see in Gredelj a strategic partner that could produce such parts, and this cooperation is an introduction in some future projects. "By signing a contract with the Czech company, by the second day of the fair, we covered the costs of fair exposure that could climb to a maximum of 100,000 euros, while it should be noted that the Croatian Chamber of Economy subsidizes half," he added Tolic. At the fair in Berlin Gredelj also introduced a new modernized JT38CW-DC locomotive worth about 3 million.
